Clearance sale, last chance offer! ;) * Fantastic genuine vintage Scotch plaid woolen cape, by Merrywear, circa 1950s. * Handmade in Ennis, County Claire, Republic of Ireland. Flaunt your Irish pride! ;) * Thick, warm, cozy wool construction in beautiful shades of red, green, yellow and blue. * Fastens down front with large wooden buttons. Absolutely adorable. * Features large patch style pockets, fringed bottom hem, Batwing style arms. sewn together at lower sides, which is much warmer than a pullover style. * Good, but NOT mint, vintage condition. There are several small holes in the wool throughout. Some damage/discoloration to bottom fringe, see photo #7. Needs TLC; price somewhat flexible. * This is the perfect warm poncho-coat for the cold months. It's ideal for those who need room in the bust, or for cute maternity outerwear. Would also work as a costume for play, musical or film. ;) Measurements: 39" from shoulder to bottom of fringe. 35" from shoulder to where fringe begins. Approximately 45" in diameter across "wingspan" of poncho, from sleeve to sleeve.
