Vtg 70s Norman Berg Georgette Tiered 2 Piece White/Black Polka Dots Dress Sz 5-6 Unusual late 1970s white and black polka dot tiered dress by Norman Berg. It consists of an under skirt with a wide polka dot flounce making up the bottom or 4th tier. The second element is a shorter top dress which slips on over the head with the remaining three tiers. It has an elasticated ruffle hemmed neckline and fine spaghetti straps. Both the underskirt and top dress are lined in a silky-feel acetate and the waistbands on both pieces are elasticated for a comfortable fit. This dress has such a contemporary feel and would work well for a special event or for more relaxed occasions such as resort or cruise wear. Size 5-6 Flat measurements Armpit to armpit (unstretched-stretched) 11-16.5" From top of spaghetti straps to bottom of second tier 24" From top of spaghetti straps to bottom of 3rd tier 42.5" waist to hem on separate bottom tier piece 40.5" The last tier is separate. It has an elastic waist which allows you some leeway on the dress length. Roll up the waist to shorten. If you want to remove the last tier to have a convertible dress, be aware that the 3rd layer has no lining and is quite see through.
