Vtg 80s Fendi SAS Black Tobacco Checkerboard Print PVC Vinyl Crossbody Chain Bag Authentic vintage Fendi checkerboard print PVC vinyl coated canvas crossbody bag. Zipper top closure with Fendi logo zipper pull and black vinyl lined interior. Bag measures approximately 8.5”H x 11.5"W x 3”D. Chain strap drop is 22” long. Serial number 433800460058. Back of zippers are also shown for authenticity purposes. No dust bag. Item Condition: Exterior is clean with a few light marks. Piping is in great shape. The black vinyl trim around the zipper on both sides was completely worn off down to the gray fabric beneath it. I painted it with Angelus black leather paint, it looks much better and matches the front black accent down the center. Black vinyl lined interior shows signs of wear/use fading/scratches/small tears on side from age/use/storage.. See photos. Flaws are circled in red. The small tears could probably be easily repaired with the right vinyl glue. No storage odors. Gold tone zipper pull has tarnish due to age and is now a silver color. The original leather strap was completely worn out so I replaced it with a new unbranded heavy gold tone detachable crossbody chain strap. This bag is vintage, previously used and not new but in good usable condition considering the age with lots of life and use left in it. If you are seeking perfection or are super nitpicky a brand new Fendi bag is your best option. Price is firm.
