Vtg 80s NEW YORK CITY Big Apple Rainbow Souvenir Mug & Pitcher Bowl Twin Towers

This pair of vintage late 1970s-1980s era New York City souvenirs features a miniature mug and a pitcher with under-bowl basin. Mug: The front image shows the Statue of Liberty in the forefront and the city skyline behind including the Twin Towers. There is a rainbow at the top with "New York City" text below. The mug has a cobalt blue glaze with tan trim. The reverse side has an embossed image of two men in a tavern. 2-1/2" tall. Stamped "Japan". Very unique! Pitcher & Bowl: The pitcher and bowl are made of white porcelain with gold trim and feature "New York City, The Big Apple" text with the city skyline within an apple. The Twin Towers and Empire State Building can be seen. Pitcher is 3-5/8" tall; bowl is 4-1/2" in diameter. The condition is as shown in the photographs. No chips, cracks or crazing.
