indiajuliet I’m not very good at measurements - would you say this is a true (retail) size 12 now? Or closer to current 8 or 6 sizes, as vintage items can be?

vaat @indiajuliet this is kind of a convoluted/non-specific answer--sorry in advance! I think it would fit a true 12 if the desired look was on the fitted slim side but would fit a 6/8/10 for a more relaxed silhouette. I use a modified measurements chart from vince as a baseline reference which has a size 12 body measurement of 40" for the chest; however I also did a quick search of my inventory logs and I have had blazers with similar measurements in sizes 4-10

vaat @indiajuliet because this blazer is cropped and relatively straight cut I think there's more wiggle room in terms of sizes it would fit as opposed to, say, a very tailored full length dress with darts and seams to hug the curves of a specific size which would not work well/hang awkwardly on a smaller body
