Vtg Artisan Beaded Cross Necklace, Tourmaline Amethyst, Karen Landon, EUC

This beautiful piece is one of Karen Landon's earliest creations which were made on commission only, and have been worn by several celebrities including Jodie Foster, Geena Davis, Stevie Nicks, Courtney Cox, and many others! Now the renowned California designer has her own line of handmade jewelry called Veronica Rock. She is most proud of her crosses (see attached picture) and this piece boasts natural stones along a silver chain with an intricate silver cross adorned by surrounded by curved, highly detailed feathers or leaves, amber enamel, and nice long brass filigree beads hanging from a trapeze holder. This piece is truly dazzling. All amethyst, tourmaline and pearl beading is either prong-set or wired on. Length: 15 inches Closure: Push-in Tab; this low profile clasp is hidden by amethyst beading in the form of a flower. This floral design is thoughtfully mirrored after the center of the cross. Hallmark: K Landon Ms. Landon's designs pull from an array of strong female influences...from Freida Kahlo to Joan Jett to Deborah Harry to the obscure... I do not know who this piece was made for, unfortunately, but it is most certainly a one of a kind beauty!
