Vtg Bill Blass Blassport brown velvet pants suit, ladies' size 12 / 14

Vintage Blassport (Bill Blass) for Saks Fifth Avenue two piece brown velvet pant suit. Double breasted blazer with gold tone BB logo buttons, embroidered breast pocket, size 12 (vintage sizing - please review measurements!). High waisted flat front wide leg slacks with slash front pockets, back zip and hook closure, size 14. Pants appear to have been shortened and may have been repaired at the crotch seam. Measurements (laying flat): blazer - 18" across bust, 28" from shoulder to hem, 24" sleeve length, 11 1/2" back vent Pants - 15" across waist, 39 1/2" from waist to hem, 29" inseam. Some wear - missing stitches on one blazer pocket flap as shown in photos, alterations as described above.  Sent to you from my smoke and pet free household in the US.
