Vtg ENGLISH BARBOLA MIRROR 🌺

I hate to give this little cutie up. Very shabby and cottagecore. This listing is for an antique English Barbola mirror. Made between 1900-1940, these were extremely popular and still very collectible today. They come in all shapes and sizes. Barbola is an art form where gesso is formed into flowers and other fauna, applied to the mirror, frame, and painted. The mirrors are beveled as you can see. This one is a petite size which is most collectible. It measures about 6” tall and stands on its easel. There are dark pink, yellow, and blue flowers applied. Green leaves. On each side of the Barbola there is a tiny flower. missing from the swag. Which I did not notice until I was taking these pictures, hence the low price. The mirror otherwise is very solid and intact. Being sold as is as found - as I’ve always had it. Thanks for looking ! 🌺
