Vtg Herbert Levine KABUKI Shoes Beth Levine 60’s Fine Silk Intricate Purple Stripe Pattern Gold Platform Size 4 1/2 These are incredible works of art that may very well have been one of a kind. The gold lining of the shoes is embossed “KABUKI” in oriental motif below in a rectangle is HERBERT LEVINE then below HERBERT LEVINE PATENT PENDING Hand written with pen on the inside of the right shoe A 142 4 1/2 M The fine silk is just wonderful with a super multi colored stripes geometric pattern. Stunning shade of purple silk. Heel to toe about 9″ The platform is about 1 1/2″ There is very little wear. The tips at the toe have some wear however the flat portion of the bottom of the shoe again shows little wear. These were purchased in New York City and we are the original owners. We have a small collection of Kabuki shoes that are listed in our Shop. This pair of shoes has a fan club of it's own.
