Vtg John Louw Copper Relief Wall Art 3d Rhino 16"x13" ("the mouth art")

Very Nice Detailed Picture. This is a wonderful John Louw 3D copper Beautifully framed and in excellent condition measures (including frame) 16” x 13.” The entire picture is done in copper and the horses and stagecoach make the 3D effect. This is a unique piece of artwork by a uniquely talented artist. John Louw was born January 26, 1949 in Namaqualand, South Africa and whose method of art is referred to as “mouth painter.” At age 18 he was in an accident which resulted in paralysis of all four limbs. He began painting with his mouth and in 1987 received a scholarship from the AMFPA (Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists) of which he is now an associate member.
