Vtg Polo By Ralph Lauren Cardigan (L) Forest Green 100% Wool Cable Knit Sweater

This item is a Vtg Polo By Ralph Lauren (L) Cardigan Forest Green 100% Wool Cable Knit with Woven Leather Buttons. This sweater could easily serve as a warm coat. The cable knit is deep and plush. Although the true color was hard to capture, it is a deep, rich forest green. The first photo captures the color best. Beautiful. The sweater has 7 woven leather button, and two pockets on the front. Overall all the sweater is in excellent condition with two exceptions: 1. several of the woven leather buttons show signs of wear, and 2. a couple stiches have come loose at one of the button holes which I believe can be easily repaired. (See third picture) This sweater was a much loved sweater. Although the buttons can be easily replaced, the character of the worn buttons is not objectionable to me. The couple of loose threads at the button hole will need to be tacked to prevent further raveling. Although the loose threads are hard to see when the sweater is buttoned, it does require attention. Although both concerns can be easily remedied, I have made allowances for these in the asking price.
