Vtg TAXCO STERLING MPO 925 Los Castillo Modernist Shadowbox Dancer Pendant Chain Pre-owned- after research appears to have been an earring that was converted to a pendant. It is about 1.5” long, 6 grams and bell shaped. The Stylized dancer leaps across the front of the dangling pendant by Los Castillo. Constructed of sterling silver using a shadowbox technique, the fronts of the pendant is pierced with the figure of the dancer and floats above the back, held aloft by small silver rods; the shadows created by this double layer of silver gives the earrings visual interest when viewed from all sides. Included is a box chain 18” stamped 925 Italy, with spring ring clasp. Sturdy enough for this beautiful unique piece!!! Taxco silver has been around for over 100 years.
