Vtg Taxco Mexico SS Yalalag Wedding Cross Pendant and SS Chain Tiger Eye Stone

Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Wedding Cross, with Tigers Eye center stone Pendant and chain. The silversmith is JCB, and is a Yalalag cross in the Oaxacan tradition. Unusual design large central cross set with center stone of tigers eye, dangling and ornamental attachments with appliqued rosettes, and beading even on the bale. It is circa 1960's-1970's. The pendant measures 41/8" high by 21/4" wide, included is a 24" sterling silver chain. The tiger eye center stone was considered to be able to create strong relationships perfect for a wedding cross. This is in very good condition, all pieces are intact, with natural silver tarnishing, signed on the back.
