Vtg black stone geometric earrings

Charming pair of black stone dangle earrings with silver tone wire and French hooks. Are they onyx? Hematite? I’m not sure but I do know they are super mod looking and I hate to let them go. I just never wear dangle earrings anymore. There is some variation to the black stone, adding character. Vintage, acquired in the 90s so they are at least that old.
