mollylasiter @cassiesclassics when I’m listing tons of items, I input $555 or $222 on every single item I list on here to move through the listing process faster. You can take a look at my listings to see. As that amount is not relevant to the actual sale of the item and I’m fully transparent about the original retail in the item description I don’t see that I’m doing anything wrong.

curatedbycassie @mollylasiter I gotcha! I hadn’t looked at all your items since I was just browsing all jewelry from that brand. So for these earrings, you’re saying the retail is $85 but you’re selling for $149? That’s the weird part. Most people sell for cheaper than retail. I wondered if it was backwards or something. Would make more sense if they retailed for $149 and you were selling for $85. Idk why someone would pay almost double the amount you’re saying they retail for. Just wanted to ask! Thanks

mollylasiter • People very often will pay above retail for an item that is rare or exclusive and in new condition. • Poshmark is a platform that heavily encourages “price drops” and “making offers” so my items are ALWAYS priced higher with that in mind. I can’t even remember the last time someone purchased from me flat-out without one of us making an offer first. I am NOT expecting to get $149 for my item. These are all very customary actions for boutique sellers like myself. @cassiesclassics
