Pet carrier was tried once. Our pooch had a bad leg and this just didn’t work. It is a size L which is for a 9-14 lb dog. The backpack has adjustable straps with breathable front carrier. Has storage pockets and a safety belt. Material is polyester. Size of back pack is 15” long, 9.1” wide and 18.5” high. Smoke free home.
