Lot of Three WW2 pins from the 1940s. These were my dad's pins worn in World War II. The "Ruptured Duck" collar pins were awarded to U.S. Army Airborne servicemen for Honorable Service badge pins. He served in the U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division in Japan 1944-1946 during WW2. These were worn on hats or buttonholes on service coat. Department of Defense awarded these from Sept. 1939 to Dec. 1946.
PIN SIZE: 5/8" Wide by 1/2" Tall.
There are 2 Sterling Silver ones (8 grams ea.) also in excellent condition (marked Sterling). I cleaned them carefully with fine silver creme.
The Gold-tone one is Gilded Brass and in excellent vintage condition. Please see the close-up photos.
