This rare vintage link bracelet is a great piece for the collector or as a momento of a significant time in history. The three main links have 1/20 10K GF flowers on the two outside links and a US Marine Corps insignia on the center link. This endearing bracelet has initials and the date 11/7/45 engraved on the back of the three main links. Although the bracelet is not marked sterling silver, it appears to be due to the patina, and the company was known to have used sterling silver and gold in their jewelry. It has been lightly polished while allowing the patina to show through. This bracelet was made by the Lloyd Garfield Balfour Jewelry Company, who was called upon during WWI to make insignia jewelry for the US Armed Forces and continued through WWII.
