Amazing vintage Navy WWII purple heart medal in original case. Beautiful set with included bar, and recipient info. In excellent condition with no flaws or damage. Great military collection piece! Measurements are provided in photos. All products are locally thrifted/rescued and will require wash before wear. Most pieces will show normal wear for vintage items of 20-30 year age. blainemco1 As a veteran, you should not be selling a Purple Heart it should be returned to the DOD. This is how we get stolen valor by people buying these medals and wearing them and pretending they were in the military.

blainemco1 @southofnow I do not have that information I would just contact the DoD or their website it might be there but I remember years ago was an issue, still is, somebody reported and said that Valor medals should be returned to the DoD if the family did not want them.
