This beautiful vintage cast iron skillet is in the most excellent condition, and like a fine wine, it has only gotten better with age. It is light weight, the handle is smooth and comfortable. It has a thick black patina and an exceptionally smooth bottom, making it non-stick. From my research, I believe this rare pan is between 60-130 years old. Cast iron skillets like this are the most versitile cookware in the kitchen. You can use it on the stove, in the oven, on the barbeque. You can put bread, pizza, and more in it. Because of its exceptionally smooth and well seasoned bottom, it rivals my Le Cruset enamel cast iron skillet in nonstick capabilities, though without the enamel, it is lighter and less delicate.
