Wang Chung – Mosaic 1986 Griffen Records Original Press Vinyl LP. Most people think of Wang Chung and laugh. They sing "Everybody Wang Chung tonight." And they relegate the band to the One-Hit Wonder dustbin. However, this is because most people haven't heard more than the biggest hit on this album. goofy lines aside, the aforementioned track isn't a bad one. The bridge is a sober counterpoint to the wacky hedonism espoused earlier in the song. But that song aside, the rest of the album is a strong statement of artistic pop. Strong, danceable tracks like "Hypnotize Me" and "Let's Go" are balanced by the quieter but no less lively "A Fool and His Money," and "Betrayal."”The World In Which We Live" is a strong end to the album. What could have been either a nihilistic or cloying song, instead becomes an excellent transformational song.
