I’m selling my wedding dress I bought in 2021. It has been altered to fit a standard size 6, my measurements and height are below. It could easily be altered again. I also added button closure details on the back of the dress and a 5 button bussell for dancing. Bust: 34, Waist: 28 Height 5-4” and wore 3” heels

mnegaard Do you think the hem on the bottom of the dress could be let down to gain more height?

smoerbe @mnegaard there isn’t really a hem since it is layers of fabric, so I don’t think you could make it longer. I did wear 3” heels, so the height would be closer to 5-6 or 5-7

mnegaard I am going out on a limb, but I would like to try this dress on. It looks like this dress might be posted on nearlynewlywed as well. I would like to purchase this dress, but would like to try it on first. I might be okay with the height of the dress, but I wouldn’t know until I tried it on…..the only the I noticed is that there is a price difference between the sites. Would we be able to make the prices similar? I can ensure you that I am an upstanding citizen😀

smoerbe @mnegaard hi there! I changed the price on near newlywed. I do still need to go get the dress professionally cleaned so It might take a few days to get it cleaned before I can ship it out, if that’s okay. I hope it works for you! It’s such a beautiful dress.

smoerbe Okay, I convinced the cleaner to have it done by Feb 28th and hopefully sooner! I just have to let nearly newlywed know that it will be a late delivery or they will cancel the sell

I never got bridal photos taken, and kind of regretting that now. So I would be willing to buy or rent for some photos. :) Thank you!

smoerbe @mnegaard I’ll email you. I think you bought it for around 1200 but near newlywed took a lot out and I received around 900. So that would happen again if we use it, so maybe we can get creative to save us both money.
