scharf74 And please don’t say the Catholic Church would not let you wear the other one. I’m Catholic and got married in a Catholic Church and no one ever asked me to provide a photo of my dress for approval. Your parish priest might have but that’s his personal rule. Just clarifying because the church has enough to contend with…. The first dress is GORGEOUS!

taramg5 @scharf74 it is the exact same dress. It is a two piece dress. The skirt and top are two separate pieces. I have both tops that will be sold with the skirt.

taramg5 @scharf74 and I most certainly WILL say the Catholic Church would not allow me to wear the other top bc that is the truth. I’m not sure how much YOU know about the Catholic Church but each one has their own set of rules. The Cathedral I was married in in New Orleans not only would not allow anything sheer but also No shoulders, no back and no cleavage. Thank you.

scharf74 @taramg5 I apologize. I just saw my comment and it was rude. You repeated what I said, of course every parish priest can also have his rules if reasonable. I wore a halter style. I’m just picky about generalities and that’s definitely my own personal issue, no one else’s. What do I know about the church? Not much. I am just a Lector, EM, catechist and have 2 Uncles who are priests and an aunt who is a nun. I don’t know a lot. But I do apologize.

taramg5 @scharf74 thank you for your apology. I’m sorry if I was also rude. I was just taken aback because you implied I was lying which was absolutely not the case. As for the dress it is the same dress in both photos. As stated in the listing it is a two piece dress and both top do come with the skirt. I hope you have a beautiful day.
