greatnanacloset @jillycarlo84 I absolutely love this dog...so beautiful, I am allergic to most dogs, so I have a 7lb miniature poodle that rescued me 10 yrs ago.. she was in a shelter in Mississippi.. I found her online shopping shelters.. she was 2lbs of skin hanging on a skeleton.... so abused when found on road, thought to be dead, somehow had a strong will to live, GOD knew I needed her and she needed me😊

greatnanacloset @jillycarlo84 I had to wait about a week to get her. She was so abused and had ticks, fleas, tapeworms.. they had to shave her down to skin... when I was allowed to adopt her she was the ugliest thing ever seen.. but beautiful to me.. her eyes showed so much sadness..

Adm said she had been through terrible abuse, will never know what all or how long she was on the road on her own.. she was literally starving to death... just kept in cage to breed because she is so beautiful 😍 She is like a little white snowball.., and so spoiled she doesn't even know she is a dog 🐩 there are photos in my closet of my beautiful baby 🐩

I have Severe Depression, High Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and PTSD, she is awesome at how she comforts and protects me... i was a victim of sexual abuse by my stepfather from age 2-18 yrs .. I am 67 and told my Mom at 9 he convinced her I was lying so open door.

I proceeded with "I want you to admit what you did to me all those years, when it started and how you kept me under control long enough to rape me... and WHY.. he would not even look at me... I worked in "MENTAL HEALTH" told her what happened... she said take that newspaper rip it up stomp on it until you feel it is completely destroyed and put it in the trash!! I did so... all that night it was on my mind so the next day is when I confronted him... he told me he may die had just gotten out of hospital and could have a heart attack and die right in his bed.. I said "I don't care"

My baby girl was dying of cancer of the salivary gland and her name is Coco and when I got to the shelter, his name was Coco. I flipped out.

The day I got him was the anniversary of my father's passing. The lady's daughter lived up north and could not keep the dogs and when I get the pedigree from the family, he was born on my mothers birthday, December 30th! He's pretty special❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

totopuff @jillycarlo84 I rescued him on his first day at the shelter. He hangs out a lot with my girlfriend across the street she has a Brussels Griffon who is his best friend. He also hangs out with my friend Kathleen's Doberman and Pomeranian and Elizabeth's Pomeranian, so, yes he does love other dogs but not when I pay attention to them!😆

That's cool that your dog plays with other dogs. I want another dog but I travel a lot for work and it's a circus traveling with one dog sometimes lol. You get strange looks checking into hotels with a 140lb dog lol

We get a lot of looks, most are happy but some people are scared and we try to change that. He has friends at all the drive thrus from here to Ohio lol. He gets so much free food lol.

ginabono @jillycarlo84 yes, one of my missions is to educate ppl, not only on pitbulls but all dogs. It’s all in how they r raised, its humans doing the damage. That’s so funny ab the drive thrus!!! Whenever I pick up a dog to foster I get them a freedom meal at McDonalds! They always love it, even my sick babies love it!

jillycarlo84 @ginabono yes I agree. It's how you raise them. Just like kids lol. That's cute about the freedom meals. The Dairy Queen in Ohio makes a doggy ice cream with a milkbone on top and I think it's the cutest thing ever.

letshangout @jillycarlo84 - Before I got ill, I worked with 2 rescue groups ranging from fostering (had 1 bloodhound really mangy. Loved her) to visiting homes to transport. I also have 4 rescues, all pulled from either last day and was going to be euthanized or at kill shelters. My smallest is 64 pds. My joke is I have to find a puppy daddy to help me with expenses! LOL.

When people give the excuse of I can’t foster because I’ll get too attached, I always say you’re saving a life and when you see where they wind up, the tears you cried when they left you, will turn to tears of joy!
