Are the top and skirt separate or connected?

@annsper25 It's two pieces. You can wear the top over the skirt, for a longer waist line, or under with the sash like in the picture. The back of the top zips, if I didn't show that in the photo, but my understanding was it could be altered to be corset back if someone wanted.
