janhankel #4 I don’t do anything special for any season except Christmas. I’m trying to get rid of Christmas but it seems like no one‘s interested actually I just list what I have and I don’t buy anything special. I even sell winter wool jackets in the middle of summer.

wildtimefashion So no one follows fashion trends, color trends?Example last 5 years summer sneakers, mesh ballet shoes, or boho tribal braids have been trending in fashion? I know someone has sold alot of mushrooms and they have also been popular? Every season there is styles or secondhand clothes that are popular, so no one researches this?

wildtimefashion I purchase based on my own personal taste. I have bought items in bulk to sell initially that and wasn’t my taste and has been poor purchases. I so research current patterns and 5 year trends to purchase new product but limit my inventory. The average USA woman size was 10/12 now it is 14/16 so not one to buy small apparel. Etc just some information I tend to focus on for any season.

carlala74 @wildtimefashion for me no. My whole reason for first joining Poshmark was to empty my closet (I have PURCHASED AND BEEN GIFTED SO MUCH) and because of how much “new with tags inventory I have with tags, I’ve been during it into a small lucrative business. Now my sisters give me what pieces they have and they range in size. I actually JUST SOLD A XS DRESS pretty quick after I listed it. It’s hard to gauge who needs what. I just list what I think I can get a fair price for. 😊

deals2adore Debra #8 I am probably not doing to much strictly seasonal ( no more swim , shorts, few dresses, sweaters (I have some now to list but no more after that) coats jackets .. unless I have it. No more kids.. probably just add jeans and tops. .. maybe home that sell all year for me.

jcbone Jeanie #8 I don’t really get into or research a lot for trends. I sell what has been given to me and from what I’ve picked up at estate sales. Sometimes I will read the celebrity fashion blurbs just to kind of stay in the know in case I see something that might be a good seller but vintage is my bread and butter.

sharekindness @sharekindness #9 Lisa I get some catalogs and I try to stock what I hope to be the hot sellers with respect swimwear. I got into this to lower my own personal inventory. Love Poshmark. It's wonderful. I agree, though typically size 14 and up that are most popular.
