lynnerd123 Hi Angela! I've been on posh a while but have zero clue how to join a party. I don't have Facebook (bf won't let me) I figured I needed that to join. Can you tell me how it works ?? Thanks

angelwagner @lynnerd123 it depends what you mean by Join. If you mean selling your stuff in the party-when sharing make sure you choose the icon that says share to party, if ur using the Poshmark app, it's at the top. Then you just hit share and it shares to the party and your followers.?

angelwagner @lynnerd123 If by join you mean shop- during the party hours click shop on ur app, the click on the party and it will open, keep refreshing to see new items added. You can also shop parties after they close, but you can no longer share your items to that party. Does that make sense

carriew216 Thank you!! I have questions. I just joined a few weeks ago and I'm learning as I go. Do you always to to message people through an item? Is there a way to contact someone by a messenger on here? I have just had to go back and forth with someone on my profile picture? Which isn't a big deal I just think its weird to not have a messenger spot?

angelwagner @carriew216 yes, you always chat through an item listing. Usually it’s on an item you are considering purchasing. Other comments are left on profiles or sale signs. It is odd.

carriew216 Ok thanks so much! also how do organize your closet or listings, you get your sold items all lined up or kids all together, women's etc.?

angelwagner @carriew216 most people shop by searching an item, so when they enter your closet the will click on “women’s tops” and it sorts it for them. Posh does suggest rotating your top ten items each day. People who are just looking tend to look at those. I personally put my sold items at the bottom. Other than that sorting is too time consuming.

carriew216 I know this is going to sound stupid, but how do you put your sold item at the bottom? do you click and drag or is there a menu for it? sorry I thought I looked at everything? :-)

angelwagner @carriew216 you have to share every other item. Each time you share an item it is bumped to the top. That is why sorting takes so long. It is not at all convenient.

angelwagner @carriew216 it is a lot of work. I have been doing it for a year. I usually spend about a half hr each day following and sharing- sometimes more on the weekends. I've mad just over 2,000$ in that time. However, I accept almost all offers bc the clothes I sell have belonged to my mom who retired and gave me her work clothing, my sister and nieces. Therefore, I feel like everything is profit.
