@iamwarrior ... my brother was in fact diagnosed with a brain tumor 2 years ago the day after Thanksgiving. B/c of clinical trials, he has been doing amazing - imo, his, as so many other fighting the same, courage and humor are legendary! Like you, I left a corporate career and am currently studying Eco-Psychology and Nature Therapy.

@apophenia821 thank you. Initially I didn't speak of my tumor & other challenges for months (I joined 2 weeks after my BT diagnosis) until I had a string of interactions w/ a few deplorable poshers. No one should have to ask for kindness/respect but I felt like maybe by sharing my story, women will speak a little kinder & be more compassionate. This is after a community of mostly women. Prayers for you & your journey🙏🏻

@apophenia821 I am so sorry to hear about your brother but glad he is doing well. My tumor will be with me forever b/c of its critical location. Surgery is very high risk so I get MRIs every 6 mths to monitor it. I am choosing a holistic approach to avoid surgery. Best of luck in your new studies!!

@iamwarrior I definitely send positive thoughts and feelings your way. I thought as much when reading your bio and think it's terrible you had to suffer such pettiness! I definitely believe in the personal and collective empowerment of women, and in women supporting women- it's the old, "if women supported women 1/10th of how men support men..."... Imo, it's one of the last frontiers that women need to overcome to truly stabs in our own power and excel.

@apophenia821 😊Aww...it is a little slow at first, but just keep up with what you're doing...the shares really help and following people. The more people you follow, the more people follow you and the more followers you get, the more people see your pretty things! Playing the follow game helps you gain a lot of followers as well. A lot of people have it on their wall. If you haven't seen them I'll let you know when I see one. Also, going to the parties and sharing things there helps too!

I just took a moment to read a wee bit @ you. I'm so sorry @ your brother but his current status sounds so promising! I know that you're in transition & moving so I just wanted to offer you some encouragement & support! BRAVO for not allowing yourself to get stuck (something that I allowed myself to do many years ago before moving on) & taking charge of your life! Kudos to the psych & nature therapy...I'm a convert myself.

intrigued to hear you are a convert and am always fascinated by metamorphose stories @bella214777 ... What some call nature-therapy the Japanese call Shinrin-Yoku ("forest bathing") a term created in the '90s after conducting studies showing the positive effects of nature on our brain/well-being. I would love to see our nature-connection become more a part of our culture.

It's interesting you mentioned this @123lynne b/c I'm am currently studying Eco Psychology, applying for a certification as a Forest Therapy Guide, and have been preparing a resume for a biophilic design company. Assignments will require that I visit, experience and write about the human-nature experience in various environments, including the city. HLP could be a great example! I think is great you have so much surrounding land to hike! Do you have any favorites places in/around NYC?

Hope my response did not seem too harsh but too many Poshers are not "doing it right" and sometimes people just want space to enjoy the experience of admiring or consider an item at a later date. Yes! You have good taste @pearlyrose! Sold items have been increasing as more followers join and as PFFs share4share! A handful are sharing the entire board 1-2 times a day. I think that can only be done if the shared items are streaming to people who have a a lot of followers or it will just be to much in the feed for those with less followers.

Hi @davidawill You are welcome. I recommend getting a pad and pencil to take takes, maybe a notebook with tabs to organize further.
PM is great for shipping because all you have to do is print the label and drop it in the POB but PM is exclusively for clothes and make-up that will fit in an envelop.

Larger and PM non-permissible items can go through EBay and Amazon but I think you have to pay for shipping. Local sites like C5, LetGo, OfferUp, Wallopop, Gone, Cherish, Move Loot (google, "resell apps" for more. They are changing all the time...) are good for local in person in public exchanges, as well as, Craigslist (not an app) - CL also has a "Free" section, just like Freecycle. Thank you @cindy59scheit I am just selling right now but will note that for the future. Yes, I couldn't stop sharing your beautiful knitted hats and scarves. I think it's wonderful that you make these by hand. I think it feels so cozy to wear something that a person made :D and can't imagine how you keep up with the demand!

@cindy59scheit Put the top 6 items you want others to share/sell at the top of your closet. Put a sign that you will equal share at the top of your board - for example, sharing 6 for 6 per person.

Hi there, As you already know, I don't mind doing share backs. I stayed up until 1am this morning to finish my shares backs. I suffer from lupus, so sometimes I get extremely confused. It is difficult when you share one and then more in different sets. I have created my first share game. Please sign up. Hi, I have just done a lot of shares for you. i am trying to catch up my messages. I am several days behind. I am still extremely and not getting any better. My Yorkie Hershey had surgery today and had three larger tumors removed, not caner. My baby girl has a serious ear infection and the vet said, thank god we caught it just in time and she avoid a hospital stay. It will be a rough couple of days. Wish you many sales.....
