hautecouture2 I love your rule about video taping being posted. I just got a brand new out of the package swim cover-up reported to Poshmark for being ripped up upon arrival. I packaged it very carefully and used a small priority box. I know it was perfect when I sent it to her. Can I get your permission to use that exact wording on my own picture for my closet? I would really appreciate it.

boudoirprincezz @kutekaos What also helps to is to create a list for yourself that includes the name and address of the people that have done things like this because so many people delete their accounts and create new ones so they can keep causing harm. Hope this helps 🌷

hautecouture2 @boudoirprincezz I agree! Having a small business you have to know it's going to have losses sometimes. Fortunately it wasn't one of my more expensive items so it's not a big hit. I'm sorry to hear that you cried for hours. That must have felt awful.

gorgeousnyc @boudoirprincezz I somehow came across your beautiful closet and etiquette posting, and I think it is fate. Just yesterday I closed my closet (indefinite vacation) because I was heartbroken that an item I described well in words and photos is being returned and I fear the bag was damaged by the buyer who had it for well over a week (long enough to use and file for a return). I had spent so much time trying to create my new closet and am sad to close it.

gorgeousnyc @boudoirprincezz Perhaps I can learn lessons from your posts and move forward better protected. If I create a welcome page as you did, how do you endure a buyer sees it when looking a just one specific item listing? I have a lot to learn and am trying to be the best Posher I can be. I love this community. (I'm also trying to understand how sellers get so many NWT items to sell- to minimize claim risks). I appreciate any help and I THANK YOU! xo

boudoirprincezz @gorgeousnyc Thank you so much I'm so sorry that happened to you unfortunately no matter how hard you try once in a while you will get a bad customer but I have minimized that since I put up my welcome page and started video recording the shipping and handling process after a really bad experience here. Ive seen some people include their etiquette rules in every listing maybe that can guarantee that everyone sees it ....

boudoirprincezz @gorgeousnyc What I did was add every size I could because some ladies and gents have Posh set up so they only see their size, Id love to help you continue with your closet please dont let one customer ruin the joy other customers can bring. My first bad customer years ago on another app made me cry for hours because I couldn't understand how someone could be so hurtful but unfortunately its a risk we take , I just had one last week and I wont lie its still hard to brush off but it gets better ❤

boudoirprincezz @gorgeousnyc as for NWT merchandise its easy to get it anywhere you just have to do your research and ask the right people, I buy directly from the store but over the years I've gained the respect of the staff and they allow me to look over items before theyre tried on by so many people so it minimizes stains and rips , I know a few ladies here that do amazing with shoes and they get them at Burlington or Ross , Ross is incredible for dresses...
