gb4 @wowtreasures hello there! I’ve been using the app for 6 years now. It’s not my full time job nor my part time job. But I’ve been use it daily more frequently in the last couple of months though. The way You can gain followers is by following and sharing other people’s closests. Poshmark is an amazing supportive platform and those people will most likely return the favor for you as well.

wowtreasures @gb4 -- Hello, thanks for the speedy reply & advice! I appreciate it! Sigh... I have already been doing what you're suggesting... always sharing at least 1X or 2X a day, adding new listings, and sharing at the parties, at least once a day, sometimes do all the parties per day. Your profile jumped out because your sharing # are so low (22k), compare the the number of followers (8K), and the # of people you follow (8K) is so much lower vs your followers ( 311K).

wowtreasures @gb4 --People usually have double the number of people they are following compare to the followers they have. I find that alot of ppl don't follow back when you follow them. And I'm sharing other people's closets like crazy, thus the 22K you see, and of course they share back most of the time.

gb4 @wowtreasures Good morning! Hi I wish I had a better answer for you. But honestly, I'm not sure on how I got so many followers. And one would think it automatically translates in lots of sales. Which unfortunately is not the case. I know PM changed their algorithm a while back and I noticed a ton of new followers.

gb4 @wowtreasuresI've never hosted a Posh party (I believe you have to be invited to it to be a host), but I've had a good amount of Host picks, which resulted in more followers. Other than that, I believe it's more or less luck on who finds your closet and is ready to make a purchase. Please let me know if you find out another way of how to have more sales. wowtreasures @gb4 --- Hi there!! My friend said definitely post new listings everyday, that helps with "active" status. Also share in parties and share with your followers ( 3 x a day) . But honestly who has time for that, unless the posher is doing it full time, with nothing else on their hands, bored or just need the income (as the only source) so they do it full time.... well, that person is not me... I do have a life outside of posh! LOL!!!

wowtreasures @gb4 --- I think also because there are so many closets here, its saturated, and no matter how often you share, its all hiding in the feed, thus very little eyeballs / shoppers. It woud be nice to know the traffic per item in each of our closets so we know if there is alot of traffic and if an items doesn't sell, we can make adjustments to price accordingly. Most people don't buy what they "like" because of the price.
