I saw Stevie w/ Bonnie Raitt in Spokane WA in the 80’s. He was one of the greats. Always seems like they’re the ones we lose so early. 😢 Nice tribute.

I could tell you where I was when he died. I still can just sit in a room and just be surrounded by his music.

@kitty2528 I’m glad I got the chance to pass down my love for his music down to my kids. His music was meant to be heard and shared with generations to come.

@flaymestorm I was born in 1983, so if it wasn't for my parents showin' me what good music was, I wouldn't love classic rock the way that I do! So kudos to you for being a music inspiration to your children... 💝

@kitty2528 ugh if only I could buy Stevie for $25😉😁 If that could bring him back I'd pay pretty much anything😭💕 He was & still is the best there ever will be😍🎸

My husband and I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn three times in Tucson Az back in the eighties, once at Mckale Center at the U of Arizona and two times at the Music Hall. I remember a crowd waiting outside McKale Center to get in and some of us were close enough to the door to see in. Stevie Ray was testing his sound system and started playing “ Cold Shot” that could be heard by everyone outside and the crowd outside went crazy. He was so bluesy, so comfortable with the crowd, so real.

My younger sister was the WILD ONE in the family. In 1985 (i think!) She invited me out to the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ to see some guitar player, from Texad, named "Stevie Ray Vaughan". She added that he could play the guitar behind his back. I wasn't intetested in some gimmicky performance, so, STUPID ME declined the offer. STILL KICKING MYSELF!!!!!
