Western Buckle Necklace

This unique Buckle Necklace is made with A Vintage Nocona Western belt buckle. This buckle makes a beautiful pendant and I couldn't pass it up. I also use the conchos on the belt for other jewelry pieces. I hung it on a silver plated rolo chain from a Vintage Brighton Chain belt. It closes with a lobster clasp and has a 2" extender. I have included a picture of the belt as it looked when I purchased it. The buckle measures 2 3/4 ". Brighton's buckles, jewelry, chain and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening.
