This one of a kind upcycled piece. Hand painted and made from found vintage jewelry and polymer clay. Measures 3 in. by 1.5 in. The pin back is a heavy duty magnet for attaching to clothing. Symbolism is important to me in my work so when I use images of animals it has meaning. Both in Mediterranean and northern European cultures, birds are the messengers of gods; at a symbolic level, this gives them the capacity to predict, with their very presence, beneficial or harmful future events.
