Selling this lovely reproduction of James McNeill Whistler’s painting of Joanna Hifferman, also known as “Symphony in White, No. 1: The White Girl”, originally painted in 1862. The original hangs in the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. This sweet reproduction has been mounted on particle board and the image has been lacquered. The slender shape of this would make a wonderful filler on a gallery wall or you could even add it to a larger frame! The overall image of the lady standing on a bear rug along with the details make this eye catching. I love the how her hair has this wind blown, care free look. The backing has an attached hang tag or place it on an easel for easy display.
