sams_vintage @karenaccount oh I see, I was wondering how I was going to work that out lol. I'll have to check when I get home, I don't have them on me right now. It will be 14 or 18, most likely the latter but I'm not not 100% sure.

sams_vintage @karenaccount There is nothing stamped on them or the backs...and looking at them I'm not 100% sure the backs are the originals. I know the earrings are gold, but since I cannot prove it and I can't verify the karat and I'm not sure the backs are right, I think it's probably best that I don't sell them. I'm so sorry :(

sams_vintage @karenaccount Thank you for all your help and patience, I don't really wear earrings they just sit there in boxes...I didn't know what to look for and now I do (I know vintage clothes well, jewelry and shoes are fairly new territory for me). Again I'm sorry, I hate letting people down.

karenaccount Samantha, no, not at all. We all have things we know better, things that we don't know. It's completely OK. 😊 One last thing to try is to use magnet and see if it attracts them. And try the posts and backs separately, if they are not original. 😊

I'm still not comfortable enough to sell them - I've even got terrible cheap cheap \ costume jewelry that's not attracted to the magnet, and silver isn't attracted either, so I just don't know enough. I'm so sorry again. :(
