sterlingsuccess Hi there, can you add photos with a tape measurer laying across the waist, hips & rise? Best way to do the rise is, shorts laying face up, slightly separate the legs, and have the tape measurer slightly to the side of the center, measuring from the crotch seam to the top of the waist. Thx!

sterlingsuccess @kaleyc01 hi, thx for the photos. Could you add one of the rise, with tape measurer about an inch or two to the side, and with the legs slightly parted? With the legs together & the tape measurer dead center, I can’t really see that crotch seam relative to the tape measurer. Thx!

sterlingsuccess @kaleyc01 Hi, I’m so sorry, I’m not trying to be difficult! But, the crotch seam, which is dead center is still blocked, I need the tape measure perpendicular (not angled), but slightly off to the side, so I can see that kinda upside down horseshoe shaped crotch seam, as that is where the rise starts. Maybe separate the legs a bit so that seam shows better? Thx! 🙏

sterlingsuccess @kaleyc01 I want to see the rise. The waist measurement w/out the rise doesn’t help because our waistline tappers outward as it approaches our hips.

sterlingsuccess @kaleyc01 The tricky things about showing the accurate rise measurement includes showing the accurate #’s w/out blocking where they land on the crotch seam. Here are some tips to help out: 1) separate the legs enough to see that upside-down horseshoe seam in the crotch area, because that is where the rise starts 2) lay the tape measurer about an inch to the side, so that above mentioned crotch seam’s beginning isn’t blocked,

sterlingsuccess @kaleyc01 and 3), it must be perpendicular to the crotch straight up to the tip of the waist, rather than laying diagonally upwards to the top of the waist, so that the measurement is accurate.
