Whiting & Davis Silver Metal Mesh coin purse/evening bag. Rare Vintage!

Very Rare! From the 1930-40’s, Whiting & Davis made small handbags and coin bags out of metal instead of using fabric because of the fabric shortage during the war. Look at the fasteners on the closure - all metal. Very cool! Small spot on the closure on one side and a few spots inside the bag.
