Wide leg elastic waist pants!

I just bought these pants but they are a little too tight/too long. It is more of a hassle to return them. They are very light weight material and high waisted. I have them in an olive green and a navy blue. Approx size 8 (medium). I am 5'3 and they are about a half inch too long. Nothing major.
