Wilcox‎ Teapot Silver Plated Wreath Details Vintage Unique

Vintage Wilcox International Co Silverplated Teapot Vessel Lid Double Wreath Design USA Approximate Height 8.25” As expected with any vintage item, it’s not perfect. I don’t see dents but a few light scratches from use. I did polish about 90% of it a few months ago. I had good intentions to use it for display fresh flowers but it ended up in a cabinet. It really needs to be shown off and you need to feel a connection! What makes it different? The double sided wreaths are etched on each side and the trophy handle. There is a “filter” inside by the spout. It’s shiny (you can see me & my phone in photos) and has a nice weight to it. Personal note I inherited many cool items from my grandmother years ago and ready to pass on a few. I don’t know the age but can share a fun fact that she passed to me. Of course silver items were coveted to show wealth but coffee and tea vessels were always tall so the grounds would sink and the tea leaves would rise to be easily scoop out.
