southbeachstyle @langwoman ok so armpit to armpit is about 18 inches. The very top of the dress has elastic on it all the way across. So if you stretch it all the way out it is about 28 inches even though you would never wear it stretched all that way. Depending on how tall you are, it is about 2 or more inches shorter when you wear the sleeves up on top of your shoulder. I will post a picture showing the elastic at the top of the dress. I hope that helps!
