William Maddux Ceramic Cockatoo 10.5" Vintage Mid Century Modern Figurine

William Maddux Ceramic Cockatoo 10.5" Mid Century Vintage 10 1/2" tall Maddux designed lamps, figurines and planters in Los Angeles. He started out in the 1930s designing and creating from his small house and eventually became one of the most prolific lamp designers of his time. He had a particular affinity for cockatoos and flamingos. This piece is most likely from the late 1940s or early 1950s. It does have a couple of small chippies. See photos for details.
