Winter Amish Farm Watercolor Print by Allen Ulmer

The subject of the watercolor print is that of an Amish farm at night with horse and buggy. Allen Ulmer, who was my grandfather, was a prominent commercial artist, who drew comic books in the 1940s and 1950s. He illustrated "The Green Hornet", "The Shadow", and "The Saint" among many others. He was also an illustrator for Fawcett Books and DC Comics. He was born and educated in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
