Womans American Shirt Dress 80s Vintage size 14

The vintage Woman’s American Shirt Dress is a size 14 and says petite but is fairly long as was the style back then. I feel this dress would fit as a normal length nowadays instead of being long if worn by someone taller. The dress is brand new with tags still on. No defects that i found.
