amneedleworks @jenniferlyons3 they are not insulated, but they are water resistant. They are also vented in certain locations. These were my fall-winter go-to worn over a pair of liner shorts. If it's very cold I'd opt for a pair of insulated winter bibs. so it depends on what kind of weather you expect.
