Sold at Southern style boutiques, this tweed boucle fabric dress by Jade Melody Tam is boho and “grandma core” at its best. It’s multicolored and textured with gold thread woven throughout the dress. Bouclé fabric is always quite expensive because it is a challenge to work with and demands couture sewing techniques and a lot of working-hours to create the garments. On the catwalks…the couture, based on Bouclé fabrics, are the real show-stoppers, even in all season Collections. The fringe sleeves on this dress add whimsy, and it has a lining that shields from the tweed. But best of all, it has POCKETS! This is a statement piece you’ll love. Size - S Measurements: Shoulders - 15” Bust - 16.25” Waist - 16.75” Hips - 19” Shoulders to hemline - 36” The Material and Care tags are not present, but the back panel fabric looks and feels like a heavy scuba knit made of polyester and spandex. It will have great support and stretch. The front panel weave is a little harder to determine, mixed media of textures and materials are evident but I cannot give a best guess other than the metallic threading . The dress is in great gently used condition. It was difficult to capture the color of the back which is more of a deep burgundy or oxblood red color.
