@carlydkb sorry for the late reply. It’s approximately 23.5” across armpit to armpit when laying flat. I have never washed it, it says to wash in cold and air dry. I wore it once and realized I would probably only use it a few days a year, lol, it’s warm and I live in NW Washington. But lately I have been questioning keeping it, it’s been in the high 30’s hahaha
