Mesh at forefeet enhances ventilation and prevents abrasion; ankle collars hug your feet and keep out trail debris. Thin tongues feature segmented padding to help cut down on lace pressure. Heel pull tabs allow for easy on and off—and hang drying after that muddy run React foam midsoles provide cushioning and responsiveness. U-shaped section of firmer foam around the heels adds stability. Outsoles feature high-abrasion rubber in the heels and softer, stickier rubber in the forefeet for a blend of traction and durability. Lug geometry and spacing on outsoles helps reduce clogging from muddy trails. I only wore these once for a hike.
