The gray mesh construction on the upper of the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 ushers a wave of perforations with partially covered wraps for reinforcements. The eye stay maintains the gray hue but employs a plastic overlay. Working in tandem with the punched eyelets are partially exposed Flywire cables stemming from the upper parts of the quarters. A purple swoosh graces the gray quarter panels, stretching from the midfoot to the heel counter. The stand-out feature of the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 is its buoyant sole featuring a full-length Zoom Air unit housed by a pearl white midsole with Nike Zoom and Nike Running imprints on the lateral and medial sides. The outsole has waffle pistons for shock absorption.
