This is an 80s Parachute top made by designers Harry Parnass and Nicola Pelly. Parachute was the hot label during the 1980s, worn by culture icons of the period, including David Bowie, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran and Don Johnson (Miami Vice). Parachute was formed in March 1978 and drew on the New Wave movement of the late 70s and 80s. The company was dissolved in 1993. Very good condition - the size tag is missing and the brand label has a hole. 70/30 Viscose/nylon blend.
