sassymelicious @dreamcloset i actually wanted to ask ur opinion on something if u can help me id appreciate it. I came across ur page when i was searching for saris. I have 2 weddings to attend in september with my indian bf. as a non-indian what are my options to wear at the weddings? I dont think ill be wearing a sari yet but would a long gown be acceptable? Or do u suggest a cocktail dress?

dreamcloset @sassymelicious @ Indian wedding are beautiful and a blast so I definitely hope you have an amazing time! Now, they usually last about a week, but for the actual wedding, you can do a gown since its going to be very dressy and super formal and then for the reception you can do something more fun since there will be lots of dancing, like a cocktail dress would be perfect. If you can arrange for even a suit which you can get for really cheap prices (starting at $50 for some of the most amazing looks), maybe some extra brownie points ;) plus a new experience for you!
